FLO TV Starts Rebates

share on:

FLO TV is now taking applications for rebates on its in-car and portable devices, as promised when the Qualcomm-owned company decided to stop service by spring 2011.

Its Web site doesn’t state the amount consumers will be refunded, but it allows them to submit a claim. The rebate amount will be determined by the retail price of the device—either the FLO TV Auto Entertainment system (overhead monitor), or the FLO TV Personal TV or the Audiovox Portable DVD Player.

Users don’t have to return their equipment but FLO TV service will stop within 72 hours of the claim being validated. Users will also be refunded for any unused service that was paid for in advance.

Rebates will arrive by check after 4 to 6 weeks.
