The big thing in that drawing is that there is an iPhone in it with nothing on the display, and then a screen on the dash that shows the song and artwork.

I just love to see how “Pioneer” keeps honoring its name with inventions like this one! It seems augmented reality is not dominated by the Nintendo 3DS anymore xD

This looks really awesome, and very useful too! But in my case, I would settle for a run-of-the-mill GPS on a Samsung Galaxy Note and Google Maps, or whatever. Let’s see if this videogame-like Navi system catches on!

I think you’re mistaken and if you would like to call me up I can set the story right in your mind, because you have no clue about what you’re talking about in this subject. 303-328-5216 I’m sure that won’t happen because you don’t really know the truth, sir!!!. You’v obviously heard second hand fictional information about the relationship between Wonde Proud and Intraphex. As the story is stated above truthfully and accurately, Wonde Proud(Amy made a spelling error) and Intraphex are business partners and several solutions we’ve co-developed. They’ve attended every major show with us from SEMA two years ago and we don’t hide our relationship. It is a strong one and we are one in the same now!!! So please call me me and set me straight, I’m sure I’ll not be hearing from you.

Manville; I agree! The issue is that the head unit is all the consumer can see. The features and benefits are quantifiable. Great sound is subjective and requires people who love great sound and are capable of recognizing it and installing it in order to sell it. We as an industry have done a very poor job of demonstrating that.

Interesting how “Car Stereo” means “Head Unit” in the minds of the typical consumer. It sure would be nice if we could place the concept of upgraded speakers, amps and subwoofers at the front of mind when people think “car stereo”.

Directus never design or manufacture any products they get their navigation modules from wonde proud base in taiwan the original model number of the navigation P/N WP9200 Directus just change the metal box.

Thanks for the comments and your opinions. As the story stated, nothing has changed except the brand name. Our corporate name has been and still is TATTMAR, LLC. You can check the public records. Our overseas hardware mfg, sees the potential in the USA and as the story says, they have a minority stake in the company. Prodigy One hardware is sold in multiple countries around the world and has been successfully selling in USA for two years now.

The main product is navigation, with other feature rich products on board, and the ability to add wifi, radar detection and BT. It’s pretty much a computer attached to a touch screen as the input and display device. We add these features to LCD screens in cars, whether its OEM screens or aftermarket screens.

I think that is simple enough to understand. Also INTRAPHEX stands for INTEgration and FLEXability with a phonic change to the word for certain reasons.

Sales have been increasing Qtr after Qtr and I’m happy there are people concerned about our well-being!!!!

Next up more solutions for other cars. If it has an LCD in the dash, we’ll attempt to integrate to it!!!!!

Based on their past issues it sounds like Directus went under and their main supplier changed their name rather than pay their debt! I would be surprised if they stay in business for more than a year. OH! Say good bye to the US based outfit, if history tells us anything is that the US office will be closed within the next year.

The website and the TMOTR video website http://www.egotv.com/turnmeon have links to all of the pages mentioned above…including a dealer locator.

The sad fact is in the 12V industry if we only focused on product and technologies our brand would not reach anyone besides the shrinking 12V consumer, fan base…making lifestyle type videos adds a little sugar to the 12V cough syrup and gets attention to our brand and to our products.. Go to youtube and look at the Science and Technology Channel – look at the videos views on the majority of the videos…good but not great – then go to the music channel and look at the video views on the majority of that content…BIG difference..

With these videos we reach a much broader audience (including an inherent and loyal band fanbase) in hopes of Turning them On to what we as a company and an industry have to offer – technology, fun and entertainment….which in turn should help to drive traffic to authorized JVC Mobile dealers…

The Turn Me On Series has garnered over 40 million views in the last 4 years…the product tech videos have garnered a few thousand each if that…so we strive to go after the music lover and try to communicate through multiple channels the lifestyle image of our brand, our technologies and help support the people who make the content that we need to make our stereos work and provide entertainment to the end user…artists and musicians..
