iSimple TranzIt BLU Android ISFM21According to recent market analysis, 1 in 3 consumers over the age of 17 now owns a smartphone. Of those smartphones, more than 40% run on the Google Android operating system, said iSumple.

The TranzIt BLU car kit lets owners of Android smartphones and tablets wirelessly play music from their device through any car radio (factory or aftermarket) by using the kit’s FM transmitter.

There are no wires dangling from the kit to clutter the dashboard.

To operate TranzIt BLU the consumer first downloads the iSimple TranzIt BLU app. He then activates Bluetooth on his Android device, selects an empty channel on the radio, and uses the app to tune the car kit to the channel selected. Then he presses play on the device’s media player or an Internet radio station of choice.

The car kit is now shipping at a suggested retail price of $119.95.

  1. Ok, a blutooth streaming FM modulator. How does it work if your android is connected to a bluetooth hands free as well? I beleive the hands free for conversation will conflict with the A2DP. Is this so?
